Write more. Maybe here, maybe not. I have a few large projects that need some love and I’ll make time for them. How about YOU help me out on TT? What do you say? Do you want to write a guest post? Shout out your favorite shop or artists? Even if it is you? Email me and let’s talk. No ad stuff please, but actual content? Yes! Let’s get it done.
Finish my leg sleeve. The thought of not having a good excuse to travel to my favorite tattoo spot – Unkindness Art in Richmond VA makes me sad, and not getting hurt hard by this dazzling lady anymore makes me sadder, but I will be really excited to complete this project that is stretching into its third year due to some life-shit getting in the way of my tattoo schedule. Or my Noah side – “Start a huge, foolish project, like Noah…it makes absolutely no difference what people think of you.” (thanks Rumi) depending on your viewpoint. This year I am beyond excited to start a project with Jeff Gogue. My heart flutters just thinking about it. I’m not great at posting pictures of my tattoos but this year that is all going to change. Especially because Teresa saved the

Maybe one more resolution? How about appreciating the journey? Nope, too basic. More gratitude? Too obvious. What would your #1 resolution be? Tattoo-related, life-related – whatever. I think my final one is this – life will challenge you and force you to your knees but if you can find the place in your heart that beats strong and true then you can find the courage to stand back up and face whatever is coming your way head on. And maybe try to believe in magic, just a little.
